Legal Case against Rakhi Sawant

Legal Case against Rakhi Sawant: The spitfire host of ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’, Rakhi Sawant, has landed in legal trouble after the death of a participant who appeared on the show in October.
A case has been registered against Rakhi and others in the Prem Nagar police station in Jhansi from where Laxman Prasad, the contestant who is now dead, came. The 24-year-old Laxman had appeared on the show in October along with his wife to solve a marital discord. But the show’s host Rakhi had lambasted him and allegedly called him “namard” (unmanly) and “napunsak” (impotent), after which Laxman was constantly ridiculed in his locality, according to his mother. Thereafter Laxman went into depression, stopped eating and eventually died on November 10.

UP Police DGP Brijlal has said that Rakhi and others have been charged under sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and 120 (concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to reports, if Rakhi does not seek anticipatory bail, she might even be arrested.
