Rajinikanth in Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC4: It’s not only Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday today but also the launch of his game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 4.
The star is back in the show after a span of six years and the makers of ‘KBC 4’ are leaving no stone unturned to make it big and grand.

The south superstar and Big B’s good friend Rajinikanth is expected to attend the first gala episode.

Along with Big B’s family and Rajini, Indian cricket team’s skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will also attend the first episode of India’s most celebrated game show. As per reports, the show will open with a song composed by Vishal-Shekhar and choreographed by Shiamak Davar. His dance troupe is especially in Mumbai for the performance. Big B will also dance to the tune of Pag-e-Ghungroo from his superhit film Namak Halal.

The show will start with Amitabh reciting a few lines from his legendary father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem. He will make a grand entry from a 24-foot-tall structure which is in the form of a giant ‘A’.

A special set is erected at the Yash Raj Studios by the ace set designer Nitin Desai for the shoot of first episode.

Rock Band Underground Authority at Salman's Bigg Boss 4: Salman Khan who is currently hosting reality show “Bigg Boss 4”, has given the aspiring rock band Underground Authority a chance to perform on the show.

The five-member rock band who were finalist in Colors' reality show India's Got Talent Khoj-2, have released a statement saying, "The appreciation that we received from Salman Khan during our performance in 'India's Got Talent Khoj 2' was overwhelming. It feels great to perform on Bigg Boss 4."

The band is charged up and practicing day and night to ensure that they give a performance that wows both Salman the viewers of Bigg Boss.

"We are practicing day in and day out. We are really charged up to present our talent once again in front of Salman. Hope we will have a gala time performing, as much as the viewers will have watching the show. We are eagerly looking forward to it," the band said in the statement.

Meanwhile, trouble of Bigg Boss 4 continues as reports indicate that the Shiv Sena has called for a shutdown in Lonavala on Monday to protest against the inclusion of two Pakistani participants in the show.

Underground Authority will perform in the "Aakhri Salaam" special of the show every Saturday.

Mallika Sherawat’s special appearence in TV Show for Hissss Promotion: In the run-up to the release of her long awaited film Hisss, Mallika Sherawat seems to be making all the right noises.

Since the siren plays a snakewoman in the Jennifer Lynch-directed film, she threatened to give a snake bite to the judges of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar! Mallika made a special appearance on the television show to promote the film.

Imagine the plight of the judges, Sajid-Wajid, Vishal-Shekhar and Daler Mehndi, when the sensational actress warned them that if they pass any negative comments, she will give them a snake bite, said a source from the sets.

The judges tried to adhere to her instructions and even had fun dancing with her on her popular song "Maiyya Maiyya" from Guru.

The Hisss special episode will be on air Saturday.

The film, also starring Irrfan Khan and Divya Dutta, will release on October 22.
